Hello Dear Friends,
I just finished watching a very interesting YouTube video entitled, John Van Auken Talks About Edgar Cayce On The Spiritual Forces Within You". Here is a brief recap, but if you have the chance to watch it, it's only about 20 minutes long.
Van Auken says that the Spirit is the Life Essence, the Life Force, the Spark. The soul is that aspect living within the Life Essence and the soul is experiencing and learning as it goes. Whereas all souls have the Life Force, each soul has a unique story. The soul is like the individual's collective memory and motivations, feelings, and desires.
Our normal consciousness is only a small part of the consciousness of our mind and the Subconscious is just behind the veil, but present, and can be accessed. On the microcosmic level, we have a conscious mind and personality. We also have a Subconscious part that was alive before physical birth and will be alive after physical death. There is also a soul realm where souls are actually having life and activity, without physical bodies, in other dimensions. And in the highest spiritual realms, beings are actually having oneness with the Source.
You can co-exist on all levels at one time.
